As their name implies, the band is ideal for a good 'ol knees-up at a ceilidh, with fine music and encouraging, witty caller. However, their music is so good it's sometimes lovely to just sit and listen.
For the Club's Irish celebration to mark St Patrick's Day, the Collective will select a set of appropriate tunes and the occasional song (yes, they can sing too!) With a solid rhythmic foundation (bass, guitar and percussion) and the melody line taken up by concertina, flute, tenor banjo or violin (or any combination of the four) there's a rich variety of textures - and lovely tunes - to enjoy. And, if you feel the urge, by all means, find a bit of room and have a jig!
Admission £5
Doors open 7.40 for 8 pm start.
